Clarity grades describe features seen under magnification. Ask to see the actual diamond and its report before choosing.

A grading report describes a stone’s characteristics. An appraisal provides a value assessment for a stated purpose; it is different from a grading report.

Each stone of 1 carat or more comes with its own IGI report. For pieces with smaller stones, an official appraisal lists the stones, metal and estimated value of the piece.
